SOLO OJOS ha descubierto un timo basado en la venta de productos a través de Internet.
El supuesto comprador se pone en contacto con el vendedor de un determinado articulo, este se hace pasar por una persona que trabaja en el extranjero y que tiene un familiar viviendo en Nigeria, esta persona se muestra generosa con el precio de dicho articulo y le da igual pagar un poco mas siempre y cuando se envíe este a su familiar que reside en el lugar antes mencionado. El vendedor como es natural acepta sin importarle mucho donde enviar el articulo siempre y cuando se le pague, al día siguiente recibe un correo enviado por un supuesto banco indicándole que su cliente, en este caso el timador a realizado una transferencia y que esta permanecerá en una especie de deposito a la espera de que se envíe el articulo demostrándolo mediante un justificante del envió del paquete, el cual se deberá enviar a su cliente para que este finalice la transferencia, cosa que como es natural nunca sucede y he hay la estafa ya que una vez enviado el articulo este es imposible de recuperar quedándose el estafado sin el articulo y sin el dinero de los gastos de envío.
